Gaming with Education

Educators should teach in their own manner but improving technology which in this day and age is far advanced will provide an easier and helpful method of teaching for both the educator and student alike.
Chats can be of value in the classroom if several students have questions and need help on an issue a chat can be used to get everybody on the same page.
In most classroom situations, I find it easier to use face to face communication but in certain situations when a student has a quick question an email would suffice.
A podcast can enhance the learning experience of a student in some ways and allow them to learn at their own pace and in the comfort of their own room.
I think only certain video games can help develop your studying because only certain ones have any beneficial educational value to them. I somewhat agree with the article but would rather my children develop different study habits.

Delicious

this website was pretty cool. I like how you can bookmark websites for future use and use them on another computer which is different than doing favorites. On favorites you can only use your own computer but with delicious you can use another computer and have access to your bookmarked websites.

Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets can be a useful tool in that they are an effective way in showing data in tables and graph formats as a visual aide. They make it easier to explain and show students/peers your data or information you are trying to get across. Spreadsheets have all the same features as a calculator just easier on the eyes to see all the data.

Blogging in education system

Using blogs is an effective way for the school and its officials to correspond and communicate with parents and the community on the outside of school happenings. Blogs can be useful for communication as well as having some social and intellectual aspects for students, parents, the community, and the school. It could help bring the school closer together and keep students more involved in their academics. A well established relationship between all parties involved will make the education process run more smoothly.
